I watch them every year and generally try to see all of the nominated films (best film, director, actor, actress, supporting actor and actress) before the ceremony - it makes it more fun if you have your own picks. I just wish that they would give the winners a little more time and cut down on the dumb presentation speeches!
I'm a serious fan. I have a party every year for the Oscars. Then again I love award shows period. =)

I watch every year, I love them. I especially love all the movie clips they show every year. I was a bit disappointed this year, they were kind of boring. Even though I love the Academy Awards what I like even better is the Golden Globes. You get movies and television all in one and it is much more casual. The actors like to crack jokes etc....They are just a lot of fun to watch - except this year. Glad that strike is over.
