I hated the ending...I thought it was really messed up....5 more min....

Other than that, I thought it was pretty good. A classic Stephen King movie.

I haven't seen it yet, but I will probably rent it this weekend.

It was ok....Didn't like the ending and I though the middle dragged just a little.

Totally twisted movie.

The ending sucked hard. Everything in the movie was great up until the ending. I wish guys who make horror movies would come out with more great endings. There's nothing like an ending that ties everything together and helps you make sense of everything.

I loved the ending, and so did Stephen KIng, he said it's one of his favorite movie adaptations.

It was my favorite movie from 2007.

It was a good movie, I just didn't like the ending, so sad. i would not have been able to do that, only a couple of minutes. I want to read the book now.

I missed it when it was in the theater and I wish that had seen it there but I recently saw it on DVD... I'm putting it up there with one of my favorite Steven King movies of all time. That ending was really disturbing. Wow

I went to see that movie in the theaters with my friends a few months back. My friend and I said that it was a really good movie until the end, then he said that he hated it. he said that the whole movie is worthless because they all die at the end except the guy, so there is no point. I still thought that the movie was played out great, I liked the ending it had a twist. The boy said that the army men would save us with tanks, it turned out that way, which was really sad I thought. I thought that it was still a good movie.

The movie didn't make any sense to me, especially the ending. I didn't like it, felt it was the worst S King book to movie made.

Movie was focused on one location, rather then the entire town, such as they could have shown what happened to David Drayton's wife, and other town folk, etc....

The creatures in the movie were oversized insects. They had plenty of insects sprays in the store to use to keep the insects away, Lol,.

A loud mouth religous lunatic woman, they could have put a gag on, Lol,.

I felt the movie could have been better, I was very disappointed, being a Stephen King fan.

I thought Thomas Jane (or maybe it was the director's fault) didn't do a very good job with the ending. He doesn't do "anguished" very well. It's a pretty good movie. I can't wait for the next time I see a fog/mist roll in. I'm gonna freak.

I loved it and loved the ending. Just wondering, did you notice that Mrs. Carmody was right? If the boy was killed the Mist would clear and it did. There were a few more things that were really interesting that I will let you look for because it is no fun to ruin everything. But I will tell you that the dialog in the second half of the movie is very important to the small details behind the movie. I only know one other person who has actually looked hard into the movie and has seen these details, so most people dont know about them, but look. You will like the movie even more.

The short story was great as well, I read it years ago, but it has been my favorite of his novellas. The ending was different, but I liked the movie ending better.

I think I may have done similar in the same situation. I would have to put myself in that mindset though because that is incredibly tough.
