What are we?!! SPARTANS! HU-AAH! think of yourself, playing in a football team, against some real .. They've just knocked your weakest player into the hospital. And you're angry.. very angry! You're standing at the field, and when the sign sounds.. you're running, right into the danger! You could eat .. of them!
Such.. a kind of feeling could you have, while watching this movie ;)
Troy
The story of Helen of Troy (or Helen of Sparta as she is also known) is part of Greek mythology (and is not based on actual historical events). According to most sources, including the Iliad and the Odyssey, Helen is the daughter of Zeus and Leda (although some would argue that her true mother was Nemesis). The Goddess Aphrodite had promised Helen to Paris which is why he comes for her. There continues to be debate as to whether Helen went with Paris willingly or was captured and taken against her will.
This movie, although far removed from the myth was nicely done and well worth the watch. I would, however, love to see a version closer to the actual story with gods and goddessess battling it out. Now that would be interesting.
Gladiator
Hmm.. I'm blast away. I've seen this movie over 5 times, but i never came further than the half. And finally, i've seen it in its compleet. This movie goes about what every man has got in itself: glory, perfection and power. And everytime that Maximus steps out of that ring alive, you get a certain feeling:"Yes, he made it again! He is so good!" And then you want yourself shining in that ring, battling for surviving and then get the crowd with you: To repay your bitterness. Away from the boring desk jobs or the bussiness, into the wild. I think that this movie gives you a kinda feeling.
The movie was split up in two parts: Maximus and Ceasar. I found the parts with Maximus better.. more action.
So, i've seen the first half over 5 times, it is worth the time watching!
Kingdom Of Heaven
Very well done movie. It captivates from beginning to end. Orlando was great. I enjoy seeing him in something besides Pirates clothing not that he looks bad in that though. Well worth watching. You do have to watch though. This is not a movie you can have on while cleaning house and expect to follow it.
Personally, I would put Gladiator in second place and Troy in third... but that's just me.

I would put Gladiator in 1st and 300 in like... 3rd... It was OK... It had too mcuh blood and was too gorey for me lol...
Gladiator is by far the best, with great acting from Crowe and Phoenix, and the best plot.
300 is good, but so overrated. Acting is a bit off, plot is iffy, but the effects are awesome.
Troy had a good screenplay and good acting.
Kingdom of Heaven is pretty good but has amazing visuals. Bloom is a pretty weak actor though.
I would send Troy to the bottom of the list
I think Gladiator is #1.... its a great great movie!
Gladiator was amazing
300 was way too over-rated. Looked good but that is pretty much it.
Troy was over-rated, when some thing is that is historically inaccurate i cannot take it seriously
Kingdom of Heaven Can suck my left nut. Orlando Bloom is a god-awful actor
