Sci fi movie from the early 1980s?!

Question: Featured flying glow-in-the-dark creatures that resembled sand dollars. They flew through the air -- like little throbbing, glowing flying saucers -- landed on people and sucked their blood dry. I assume they were aliens. All I remember is that they were fluorescent green and landed with a splat. Does anyone recall the name of this film?

I have asked this question before and received several replies, none of which were the movie in question.

Previous (incorrect) suggestions:
Abyss
Alien
The Arrival
Deepstar Six
The Evil Below
Fiend Without a Face
Leviathan
Lords of the Deep
Night of the Creeps
Puppet Masters
Slither
The Thing

"Without Warning" (1980)

It was a classic bad sci-fi movie starring Jack Palance. I remember it well...it was one of my favorites of the time.

Here's the link, with some pictures: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0081764/

The Puppet Master with Donald Sutherland

...I normally don't pipe in with a definitive answer, if someone else has already done so (...great minds think alike, eh, Film Jedi?), but being a devoted fan of 1980's "Without Warning", I am compelled to confirm that this is indeed the one that you were looking for (...this has been on many a horror film lover's video 'want' list, for years, now; would someone out there please finally release this damn thing???)...

...in fact, here is some footage of this 'so-bad-it's-good' classic genre flick...

Without Warning

I just want to add that these creatures seem to be copied from the ones on the Star Trek episode Operation Annihilate.
