I am Legend Endings?!
Question: Do you think the alternate ending was better or worse than the original. Please tell me why you think so and tell me why it seemed logical that the alternate ending was better or worse. I, personally, thought it SUCKED, but you know, thats just me! (:

i thought it was gay. i liked the fact that he was willing to give his life for something that he worked on for 3 years.

That movie totally peeved me off. I didn't get to see the alternate ending but it couldn't have been worse than the original.
well i havent seen the alternate ending but there was no way he could survive there where so many vampires or what ever the hell them things where lol there no way he could have survive. besides i like that he died it give the movie more drama you know and emotion and made him a real legend not just some has been cause if he would of survive he would have been the doctor that saved us but we are so selfish that in some years we would have forget about it, now dying people write and you become what the movie was all about how he became a legend see....
also i loved that movie, i felt so bad when he killed sam whit he's bare hands... dang...
As much as I hated Robert Neville dying in the original ending, having him live just didn't feel right. There wasn't any hope, no reasoning for the whole "legend" part. And it really bothered me knowing that the zombies had all that conscious knowledge of love in the second ending. That's just too sad.
I personally prefer the first ending. Robert Neville needs to die. His purpose for living was truly ended when he discovered the cure. Had he not, he shouldn't have died. Also, when Sam (his dog died), he lost a lot of his focus and motivation for things, because Sam was his only companion and the focus of all his feelings. While i did not hate the alternate ending, the original was appropriate to the movie, i think.
