Renting the Seeker for the evning; how is the movie?!

Question: I read the books when I was quite young; it was one of the first series I ever read in English. That was back in the third grade mind you. (I'm 11th grader now.)

Loved it though many of my friends found it difficult to read for some reason.

Should I go into this movie with an open mind; I realize it's hardly like the movie - all book to movies are like that.

Or is this movie just flat out bad?

I'd like to be prepared before I sit through it this evening.

I recently watched the movie and enjoyed it. I never read the book, but I like movies that are imaginative, have good special effects, and have an original story line. I may be old-fashioned, but I also like it when they have a good ending. Don't watch this movie as a professional critic would. Just allow your imagination free reign and let yourself get into it. The Seeker is suspenseful, has good action scenes, and makes you feel like cheering at the end.

Well, in the case of – Renting the Seeker …

Just kidding… this is really just a survey to see if the best answers chosen are actually really good answers or just the ones near the top/are really lengthy. It seems like all the “best answers” chosen either are in the top first three answers given or are incredibly long. When I actually read these answers, some of them are really good but others make no sense at all. Here’s basically a test of voters on Yahoo Answersó and whether they actually read through every answer and try genuinely to choose the most accurate and helpful one or if they simply vote for the first ones given/the lengthier ones that really make no sense… sometimes. Also, I’ve noticed that answers with large spaces between sentences, almost like double spacing, seem to get votes as well so maybe that’s another issue. So… for the most part, people won’t read this entire answer especially because it’s not going to pertain to the question, but I’m curious as to how many people do vote for it based on its sheer length and relative location towards the top.

Cheers!

if you like the book then you'll like the movie

It must be bad... IMDB 4.6 user rating. And also a friend of mine told me it sucks. That is why I didn′t watch it.

My family really enjoyed it (two adults and two young teens). I'm sure you will as well.
