Do you bash movies if it did`nt meet your expectations?!
Question: I seen prom night and the movie was great 10/10, it was very scary. In fact the whole theatre was screaming because how scary it was although it was kinda predictable leading towards the end, it was still a good movie. But my question is this do you bash movies if it did`nt meet your expectations? Like you thought a movie was going to be good and it sucked. I am gulity for this because I have before. So do you bash movies if it was`nt what you expected and tell people ''don`t see that movie because it sucked'' I rather see a movie for myself than listen to other people opinions, best answer get the 10 points!

I NEVER not see a movie just because someone or even a bunch of people say it sucks. Especially movie critics. I am honest about a movie if I don't like it though. I really want to see Prom Night. I'm going to wait till it's not so crowded though!
Naturally.
If a movie was absolutely terrible (as Prom Night was, in my opinion) I'm going to be angry that I wasted my hard earned money on it. With this knowledge I'll surely tell others not to waste their time on it because why should they suffer and throw away cash as well.
I only bash a movie if it totally fails to live up to the potential of the Screenplay, the Actors, the Director, the Concept, the Budget...etc.
The operative words are "Totally" and "Potential".
A movie can fail to meet my expectations and still be a good movie.
The Actors can deliver a bad performance or be mis-cast or just have a bad day and it can still be a good movie.
The Screenplay can reek and the movie can survive (if the editing and camera work are excellent..etc)
But if ALL of those things (or the majority of them) fail I will bash the crap out of a movie.
I really don't bash many movies.
