Yes great movie, I don't understand why it didn't make it in the theaters. people should appreciate a good western
I liked it, but that being said it moved a little slow for me. The plot was good and the acting was amazing, but again I can see where people would lose interest in it.
Absolutely beautiful! Andrew Dominik's first film(Chopper) completely impressed me, and Roger Deakins is one of my favorite cinematographers, so I knew going in that it would be a gorgeous production.
And you're right, I don't remember ever seeing it in theaters either.
One of the best westerns I ever saw. The movie was very well told and the some off the characters were fun to watch, like the guy how slept with the old mans wife, then later Jesse James cousin looks for revenge and ends up getting killed by Ford. Check out the movie 3:10 to Yama.
