okay i saw online that the series would start in the fall, but i was watching the free movies on demand or Starz or sci fi and I saw a promo for it that said April 2008 what was that about!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Let me guess !.!.!. the promo you saw was was basically just a star field with Vader's breathing in the background get louder with each breath and then a red lightsaber blade slashes across the screen and then April 2008 comes to the middle of the screen and that's it!. I think they did 3 other promos like that but they all ended with April 2008 in big letters across the screen!.
Anyways, that was the promo that SPIKE ran announcing the fact that they would be showing all 6 movies of the saga on TV beginning in April!. April 4-6 they showed episodes 1 - 3 and April 11-13 they showed episodes 4 - 6!. After that I think they are showing one every Sat night!. Have to admit that the first time I saw that promo I was on the net all night trying to track down just what the heck was going on !.!.!.
Nothing has changed with the plans for the new Clone Wars stuff!. The movie will be in theaters on August 15 and the series will debut on The Cartoon Network this fall!. Here's a couple links to trailers for the movie and series:

One of the others here says this animation stuff sucks and that he wants the "real stuff" !.!.!. The live action TV series set between ep III and ep IV will more than likely be the last time we see "real" people used in Star Wars!. In short, animation is cheaper and it's not like there isn't a ton of material in the Star Wars EU that could be made into new animated movies!. Depending on how the movie does this fall !.!.!. if it's a hit then I would bet the farm that we will start seeing a lot more animated Star Wars movies in the future!. If it's not a hit !.!.!. very, very, VERY unlikely !.!.!. then I'm sure Lucas will go back to the drawing board for new stories but whatever he decides to do I think the days of "real" flesh and blood people being in them are gone!. Like everything else these days it comes down to one little thing !.!.!. MONEY !.!.!. from an artistic point of view that is immensely sad !.!.!. from a fiscal point of view all you can say is what took you so long George!.
Whatever happens fans know that Star Wars will never die !.!.!. it will live on forever in the hearts and souls of the millions upon millions of fans !.!.!. remember the words of Obi-Wan !.!.!. "The Force will be with you !.!.!. ALWAYS"
PS: The new trailer for the movie that was supposed to start showing next weekend in theaters was leaked to the public from a German source!. I just went back through all the links where it could be found and they have all been taken down !.!.!. George don't like it when things get leaked before he wants them too !.!.!. lol !.!.!. I was lucky enough to get a copy before it was taken down and !.!.!. well, the only word that comes to mind is WOW !.!.!. and double WOW!. They have really turned a corner where animation is concerned !.!.!. no, they don't look "real" yet but they are getting close!.
