So I just watched "Stand By Me" after reading Stephen King's "The Body" which it's based on and I thought it was great! Who else thinks this is a timeless, classic movie!? Not that this should ever be done, but if you were to re-make "Stand By Me", who would you cast in it!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just a great great movie!! It's a movie that should never be remade!. I don't think there is any child actors around today that could capture the characters the way Will, River, Jerry and Cory did!.!.and with Richard Dreyfus narrating!.!.!.it just can't be beat!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I enjoyed the movie and am a movie junkie! As for any remake, I hate them! They show a lack of innovation on the part of everyone who does them! War of the worlds, The Flintstones, Mission Impossible, Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica and on and on and on! I almost don't go see most of the new movies because they suck! I think I might go see Ironman because it looks like it might be well put together! Give me good or don't give me at all! Damn I sound like a patriot!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
