I believe you mean a film titled "My Left Foot," which deals with a man whose mobility is limited to only one leg, his left!. Perhaps the film has been remade!? "My Left Foot" is from the tail end of the eighties or from 1990, and it hardly seems like the sort of film fare someone would inquire about at this late date!.
