Answers:
I don't think any movies have been killed or have been duds because of the amount of internet piracy!. Piracy takes a hit out of their earnings sure, but nothing to the scale of killing a movies revenue!. This summer will be the first real test of box office vs the internet with all the big summer movies!. I'm sure revenue will take a hit, but I expect th box office to be up this year even though they are losing some revenue to the internet!. The Dark Knight is going to make somewhere between 150-200 million opening weekend at the box office!. I would expect it will only lose probably between 100000-500000 to piracy in the US!. At $10US per ticket on average that is 10000-50000 people downloading the movie which still seems pretty high!.

I expect piracy will effect the industry, but not to the grand scale everyone in the industry would like you to believe!. It will be a long time until piracy is so popular that it can kill a movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It all depends on the trailer and how it grips the audience!. i mean there are a lot of people who pirate movies on the internet!. but i mean the movies that are great are meant to be seen in the movie theaters!. And not on the internet!. people who watch movies on the internet are taking away the jobs from actors and losing money that they earned!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think its awful that people watch and buy pirate films, the director and actors and producers have all worked so hard on it, and then they get no money because people who want to see it watch it pirated!. If you want to see a film, you should see it at the cinema or on proper dvd as a mark of respect for the director!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

honestly, movie pirating does not do much to hinder the success of a film!. it does not even hinder a 10th of a percent!. The MPAA actually admitted to a gross overstated statistic about how many college students were downloading films!. Hugely overstated!.

The reason that these films are duds are because they have a crappy story and were made just for the pretty people and cheap effects!. Seems like a lot of producers still don't get the fact that a good story will sell more tickets!. I mean, look at No Country for Old Men!. Everyone and their mother went to see it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No!. Movies make More money on the secondary market, like the direct to home videos!. That is where the Big Buck$ come in for the studios!. Like Disney putting out more and more revised or updated versions!. It Is The Same Movie!. Come on people!. Wake Up!. Do you Really need to see that Same movie Again, just more Clearer!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
