Answers:
I was in college when I read that novel!. I read the whole thing when I should have been studying for a analytical chemistry tests!. I crashed the whole book in about 4 days!! I loved it!. Then about 3 months later that mini series came on TV!. I think I flunked another chemistry test that semester because I was watching TV instead of studying!. I have seen the mini series a couple of times since then!. I just can't resist it!.

If you enjoyed The Stand!. I suggest you try Strangers, by Dean Koontz!. A great book, similar style of book!. A seemingly un connected group of people come together inexplicably!.

ive seen it before and i think it is a terrific movie!. the book is better though!. Stephen King is one of the greatest writers of all time!Www@Enter-QA@Com

i really like that movie but the book is wonderful you should read it!.
this movie was one of the better stephen king adaptations, often they make them a bit too silly!. but this was well done!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I saw it the first time it came out!. It's ok!. The book is soooo much better!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Movie is really good!. (The book goes without saying!.) The only part about the movie that gets on my nerves is Molly Ringwald!. She's just all wrong for that part, and the chemistry between her and Gary Sinise is abysmal!. It looks like he's trying to make it work, but she's just!.!.!.!.uggh!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love the movie and love the book!. Seeing it on tv yesterday made me hope that Sci-fi might be building up some King hype to try and talk him into doing the Gunslinger novels as a super epic miniseries!. Like 15 episodes long or something!. I would love to see those get made into movies someday although they would most assuredly be worse than the books!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I've seen it many times - even rented the video once!. It doesn't quite "stand" (pun intended) up to the book, but then they never do!. I do have to say that of all the movies/mini-series done from Stephen King books, it probably is the closest in spirit to the book!. And the changes they made were more for time and finances than trying to change the essence, like Stanley Kubrik's The Shining for example!. There were two versions: the one with Jack Nicholson (the Kubrik one) and one that Stephen King screenwrote and produced himself!. The second was a miniseries, but it was definitely a lot more of what the author originally intended!. FYI: Stephen King's new book, Duma Key, is excellent!. I've owned it for 6 weeks, and already read it twice!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
