Is it sad to go to the cinema on my own to watch a movie?!

Question: Is it sad to go to the cinema on my own to watch a movie!?
Answers:
No it's not sad!. Just because most people go to watch movies at a cinema with loves ones or friends doesn't mean that you should do that too!. I do go to cinemas alone to watch movies most of the time and I also see a lot of people who do that as well!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It's not sad at all!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hey, if i cant find anybody to go with me, i go alone!. Do it all the time!. I guess in a way its sad cause i dont have a "significant other", but it doesnt bother me!. I even go out to eat alone!.!.!.:) dont feel bad about it!. There are alot of people like us out there!.!.!.:)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do it all the time!.

I love going on tuesday afternoon, first show of the day!. The place is almost empty!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

lol no its a good idea you can concentrate more!. and just think when you're at home u watch movies then!. get yourself to cinema get some popcorn and a pepsi, you'll have a good time don't worry!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not at all!. I used to do this all the time when I moved to a new town & knew no-one, but it wouldn't bother me at all to do it now!.

Sometimes I want to see a film that no-one else does, or just want some 'me' time!.

You go for it!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

A coin has two sides!.!.!.!.
see with friends next time !!Www@Enter-QA@Com

If I wanted to go and see a movie, I wouldn't hang about waiting for ANYBODY to sit and hold my hand whilst I watched it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it's sad if you require company when you to go to the cinema!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Of course not!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No sure I do it all the time!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Absolutely not!.!.!.I've been to the movies alone before!.!.!.sometimes alone time is important!.!.!.why would you worry about what other people think anyways, if you feel comfortable going alone then that's all that matters!.!.!.Enjoy your movie!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Of course not! I appreciate the film (if it's worth seeing) even more!. An example: I saw a re-release of "2001" and we were only two in cinema! Great experience!. Comedies may be a bit different, though, but the atmosphere can help in any case!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I've always thought that people who are willing to go to the cinema alone are really self assured people!. There is nothing to feel conspicuous about - I mean if no else is going to see the movie, what are you gonna do, just miss it and never get the chance to see it at the cinema!?

I think if you wanna see it you should go!. People who don't go because they think it is sad or whatever are really just lacking in confidence and self belief!. Go and have fun!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

This happens to people who have friends with varied tastes in cinema!. It has happened to me!. Though you go alone, you are going to watch with 100s of other people!. So there is nothing wrong in watching a movie alone if you are really passionate about movies!. But if for you, a cinema hall is a hang out destination for having fun with friends and credibility of the movie is of second priority, then it is really sad to go alone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I always wondered this, But I hate going to the cinema on my own!. I've only done it twice or three times, I can't go on my own because its a little embarrassing I spose!. Anyway, You do it so that's fine!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There are certain activies that we associate doing with someone, and not alone!. Travel, eating out and going to the cinema are a few of them!.

It is true that we think that watching the movie with someone can make the outing that much more enjoyable because it is a shared experience!. And for most of us, a shared experience, IS enjoyable and special!. We feel we can talk share laughs during the movie, or grab each other in scary scenes, and share popcorn! And then we can talk about the experience after the movie!.

But the fact is that not everyone has someone to go with them!. Sometimes you can't have shared experiences because family or friends may have other plans, or they may not be interested in the movie/concert you want to see!. So do these factors mean you should not go anywhere or enjoy yourself because you have no-one to go with you!? Missing out on what you would enjoying doing: now, that WOULD be sad!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No!. I often prefer it myselfWww@Enter-QA@Com

Not at all!

I respect people that go by themselves and don't miss out on a film that they want to see just because there is nobody to go with them!.

That is really being sad!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

because my husband is always at work and I am in an isolated place I am happy going to our local BUT it has a little cinema!.!.!. I do not mind going by myself at all, in fact I enjoy it!I never minded going to big cinemas in cities either, I always enjoyed the feeling of freedom, the drawback is not having someone to nudge and comment to but that is nothing compared to he comfort of being by yourself!Www@Enter-QA@Com
