I have taught classes on communications!. I like to mute out Steel Magnolias and also have used When Harry Met Sally!. This past Sunday there was a Hallmark movie on called Sweet Nothings in My Ear about deafness, but I would think your teacher would rather you use a movie with people that interact with people in a "normal" fashion!. Say Anything also has some great non verbal communication that would be great to analyze!. Truthfully, any movie you choose you should be able to analyze the nonverbal communication being expressed!. Good luck on your paper!. I have also used clips from When Harry Met Sally!.!.!.!.Sally gives a lot with her postures and folded arms, especially after her and Harry sleep together!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

castaway, with tom hanks, or i am legend with will smith!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Nosferatu, any silent movie should help you out, because they didn't have the ability for audio so they had to communicate with their actions!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

There's a movie called "The Cuckoo" where all 3 characters speak different languages so they must communicate non-verbally!. It's a decent movie, too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

!.!.!.if you can find it, you should seek out a great little film noir feature, from 1952, entitled "The Thief", which starred Ray Milland; this rather phenomenal (!.!.!.and experimental) film unfolds, and tells it's story entirely without dialogue, or even subtitles!.!.!.!.

!.!.!.though it's a little bit more incoherent, but still quite effective, also seek out the 1991 production of "The Cabinet of Dr!. Ramirez", which starred Joan Cusack, Mikhail Baryshnikov and Peter Gallagher; it is a contemporary remake of the classic silent chiller, "The Cabinet of Dr!. Caligari", but it utilizes the exact same 'non-verbal communication' approach, as "The Thief"!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Miracle Worker!. It's the story of how Annie Sullivan taught Helen Keller to communicate!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The silent era in film -making was just amazing !. Try anything by Harold Lloyd, Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton and fatty Arbuckle!.

EdIT: Fright Film Fan The Thief is an excellent film!. Or failing that watch any film you reallu like with the sound down or with music, this to me is a test of truely good communication and a Directors skill in communicating a story!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
