ok i only remember there is like a HUGH storm, and there is a really famous actor in it!. lol but in the end there is a hugh tsunami wave or whatever, and its the daughter and the father, and they are just standing on the beach hugging eachother b!.c!. they know they will die and there is no use running!. so they just stand there hugging eachother, and then it ends!. does anyone remeber the name and the actors!?!? thnxx!Www@Enter-QA@Com

The people on the beach are Tea Leoni and Maximilian Schell!. She is making amends with him and has passed up her right to be safe in the government shelters!. Remember her giving up her seat on the helicopter to her colleague (Teryl Rothery), who has a little daughter!? Since her mother (Vanessa Redgrave) has committed suicide, she decides to forgive her father for the divorce and re-marriage to a very young woman~who left the man to be with her parents! Thus, she ends up with him near their beachhouse, confessing that she did remember the day he showed her pictures of; she had denied this during an earlier meeting!. When the tsunami is near, they hold each other, and she says, "Daddy!"
That's the best part of the whole film to me and always makes me a tiny bit teary!. Of course, I'm a major Max Schell fan!. He's a handsome, very talented actor whose talents have never been used enough!.
