Occasionally, but if you send it back and let them know on their website, they will send you a different copy right away!. We've subsribed to Netflix for the past two years and have only had 4 DVD's arrive that were unplayable!. Not bad at all!Www@Enter-QA@Com

They have normal scratches but every time they have worked fine!. I LOVE netflix!.!.!.they are absolutely great! I get them the day after they ship and have never had a problem (as far as scratches)Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes!.!.!.!.it does and for me!.!.!.!.!.twice the DVDs were cracked(broken)!.I had reported a problem on the site and also called them regarding that,they sent me another copy of the movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
Yes they do!.!.!.!. especially the old ones!.!.!. I am watching the Sopranos seasons 2 & 3 over again right now and they are badly scratched!.!.!. but cleaning them with windex and a paper towel really helps sometimes!. If not, netflix is really good about getting a new one out to you right away!.
