Question: "Kingdom of Heaven" (with Orlando Bloom) movie review!? plz help me!!!!!?
ok so I was away for 2 days in religion, and I missed watching this movie, so I am totally lost for the assignment!. I talked to my teacher, and he said that he wants me to find some plot summaries (which i did) or if i need to, watch the movie on my own time!. I REALLY DON'T HAVE TIME AT ALL to do this :( honestly!.!.!. i have soooooo much work and it's like 2 and a half hours long!.!.!. so yeah!.!.!.!. the question is:
" In the film, are Christians portrayed more positively than the Muslims!? Explain your answer by describing the actions of both groups and establish whether one was more "moral" than the other!. If you think that there was no difference in the portrayal of the 2 groups, explain why!."
I know it's a personal opinion, but if i get a good description of how each were described i can do this properly!. If anyone has watched this film and has a few minutes to help me out!.!.!. that would be GREATLY appreciated!.!.!.!. thanks!!!!!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Christians took over Jerusalem in 1099 - and the movie is about the time we lost Jerusalem back to the Muslims - I think I recall the movie was set in 1184!.
The Muslims are pictured as normal enough guys - not as savages or blood thirsty religious fanatics!. They have an area to defend and they do their duty!. The leader of the Muslims is pictured as a cultured man, forgiving - but a determined soldier too!. Would this have been Saladin!? I suppose so!. He's a good soldier and tricks the Crusaders into going into the desert to fight - running out of water - and they're slaughtered there!. So I suppose the Christians are pictured as none-too-bright - which might be the case!. We were tricked into Iraq much the same way by Bush in the present century!.
Nicely done film!. The Christians lose the battle for Jerusalem and are forced to leave and the Muslim leader lets them go although he could have killed them all if he had chosen!.
This is in contrast (for those who know history) to when the Crusading Christians had broken into Jerusalem in 1099, they killed everybody - Muslim, Jew and Christian alike!. The Crusaders were like made dogs then - and in this movie the Muslim leader lets the Christians walk away with their lives!.
