Question: Why does every girl love and obsess over The Notebook!?!?!?
How can it compare to Gone With the Wind!? Oh, that's right, it SHOULDN'T!. GWTW (and other movies) convey true truth in "suffering" and suffering in love!. The Notebook is a decent movie to watch, filled with laughter and many many saccharine-filled tears!. Plot: Typical!. Boy meets girl, boy loves girl, than the ordinary "romeo and juliet" plot comes into play!. I fail to see anything in the movie that is going separate it from any other romance film!. Don't get me wrong, it's cute, and that is its problem!. Cute and sentimental is not going to cut it!. What makes a romance movie inevitable and ultimate is not its ability to make one cry, but to make one think!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

In my experience only girls with no taste in filmmaking like the Notebook!. And I don't think I've ever heard it compared to Gone With The Wind because- as I said- only those with poor taste enjoy the film, and thus have never seen Gone With The Wind!.
I think The Notebook is quite honestly one of the worst movies on the fact of this earth!. I've never read a Nicholas Sparks books, but judging from the crappy movies they produce (The Notebook and A Walk To Remember) I assume they're nothing more than dribble!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Not every girl likes 'The Notebook', I personally don't, and I to have never heard it compared to GWTW!. No one should ever do that!.
also, there are really only seven romance plots out there, and all romance stories created use one of those seven plots!. It is really kind of sad, but very true!. i liked the book first and the movie just help me to like it even more!. Gosling and Adams had a good chemistry as well!. its one of those movies where you really wanted them to end up together in the movie and in real life!. and its a good modern love story, thats allWww@Enter-QA@Com

Ok, I read the book first and I cried my eyes out!.!.!.!.!.Watched the movie and totally hated it!. They completely ruined the story line and left out numerous details!. The book was WAY better!! The reason people are so into it is that it gives them hope that there is true love out there and that it can overcome even a horrible disease like Alzheimer's!.!.!.!.I take care of the elderly and it is not a pretty sight!.!.!.!.!.As for comparing it to Gone With The Wind!.!.!.!.Stupid just to put the two in the same sentence!.!.!.!.Completely different stories about love!.!.!.!.!.!.Gone with the wind is a classic that was portrayed beautifully on the screen, and unfortunately for Nicholas Sparks, The Notebook was not!. My suggestion is to take an afternoon an READ THE BOOK!!! You will like it a million times more!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
