It is just a movie, we have no idea how Shakespeare conducted himself in London - it is likely he had affairs, but he could have been gay for all we know!

Carol Ann Duffy wrote a brilliant poem called Anne Hathaway about the pair of them, to do with the fact that Shakespeare left his wife the second best bed from their household in his will!. It is an ingenuis and sweet poem!.
He may well have had affairs because he worked in London away from his family at a time in the past when sleeping with prostitutes was perfectly expected of men!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
