What do you think about David Lynch's movies?!

I have loved David Lynch ever since I was a weird 13 year old being enthralled with Twin Peaks!. Blue Velvet and Mulholland Drive are probably my favorites!. I love that he was a visual artist first and creates images that evoke emotion!. I also have fun trying to figure out what they all mean!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the man takes the most random and truly weird things he can put on film and edit it all together to try and make it into something which has a hint of story to it, and then at the end he taunts you to decipher all those ridiculous images as if there was a hidden point!.

I find his films to be weird but not in a good way, more weird for the sake of being weird, some people say his films are smart, but I wonder if that's just so they don't have to admit to not understanding what all the random images put together to resemble a film mean!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I don't like to be forced to work to figure out a movie!. I watch them for instant gratification, not so I can get mad and look up theories on the Internet!. They would be good if he didn't leave so many loose ends; instead, they are merely disappointing!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
