I would believe it to be ok for a 12 year old to watch!. The martial arts has stylized violence and little or no blood!. There are very few language references in the film, and no nudity!. There is one character that likes drinking, so you might want to cover that topic with your 12 year old!. The show is based loosely on chinese mythology and is a very good story along with exciting action and good vrs bad themes!. The 12 year old should love the film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think it is appropriate as long as the parent watches with them (then again maybe not if the parent must accompany!)!. But it's not bad like most movies out there!. It's not very violent or bloody and the jokes and plot are geared toward a more pre-teen audience!. But some of the plot lines are a little suggestive!.
