Question: What was the movie "Equilibrium" about!?
Boy, it looked like a great movie! I came in at the end when he had on a white suit and was shooting everyone!. It reminded me of the matrix!. I dont wana watch the entire movie, but what was the plot of the movie!?

AAAHHH! Omg sorry i love this movie!.!.!.it's with Christian Bale, and it's all about the future where emotions are outlawed because emotions can provoke anger and eventually lead to war!.!.!.everyone is on a drug that basically eliminates their emotions, and people who stop taking the drugs are radicals and must be destroyed!. The officials (Bale is one - they're like the cops) also destroy everything that provokes emotion!.!.!.Music, books, paintings, etc!.!.!.
Anyway, at one point he stops taking the meds and starts to see the world in a whole new light!.!.!.however, as he starts to feel, he finds it more and more difficult to do his job, which is merciless destruction of other people!. The part you saw was actually the very end where he goes after the leader in an attempt to change how the society functions!.
It's an excellent movie that I discovered in border's purely on accident!. U should definitely check it out sometime!.!.!.

"Equililrium" is a great sci/fi flim that somehow flw under the radar!. In a futuristic society,emotion has been outlawed and people are forced to take daily injections of a Prozac-like substance to quell emotions!. The character played bu Christain Bale is called a Cleric,one of an elite group who search out and find caches of hidden books,art and music!. There's a scene where Da Vinci's"Mona Lisa" is discovered hidden under floorboards and is destroyed!. He begins to question the society he's a part of and secretly stops taking the injections,but his new partner suspects that he's not quite himself!. You should watch this one!.It's really well done and it's a shmae you came in on the last five minutesWww@Enter-QA@Com
I haven't seen it in a while, but here's what I remember: the movie is set in a future where facism has taken over and people;s emotions are controlled through pills!. THere are clerics that are in charge of keeping people in line and stopping any rebellion, but one cleric begins to question what he is doing!.
