Question: A good age to introduce "Star Wars" to a child!?
What's a good age to introduce the "Star Wars" movies!? My daughter will be four at the end of May, and I was wondering when do you think is a good time to start watching them together!. =)

I was 6 in 1977 when the original Star Wars came out, and saw it several times in the theater!. I loved it, as did all of my friends!. I cannot wait to introduce my 3 year old daughter to the movies, and I'm going to so it the same way I was introduced to them!.
Episode IV first when she is 6, then The Empire Strikes Back when she is older, probably 8-9, since it's a bit darker, followed quickly by Return Of The Jedi!.
I think 4 is just a little young for a child to really understand what is going on, and I want my daughter to get everything out of it that I did!. It's going to be a very long 3 more years, LOL!
I'll save the newer trilogy for when she is older, especially Episode III, because the last half hour of that one was really heavy (and in my opinion, the ONLY redeeming thing about the entire second trilogy!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I'm dating myself but Star Wars first came out a year before I was born but I didn't see it until I was 2 or 3 and Return of the Jedi came out when I was in kindergarten!. Any age is fine!. You're the parent so it's your decision!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i got into it around 7 or 8!. i think thats the age you can take in what you see and understand a storyline so complex and futuristic as star wars!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I saw all of the orginal since i was six and the new ones when they came out!. I would recomend itleast 9 or 10 maybe even less, it depends on the kid also!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
