Question: What is the name of the movie where 2 women drown a man in the bathtub and he returns to seek revenge !?
Upon his return, the man rises from the bathtub and scares the daylights out of one of the women who plotted to kill him!. It's from the 70's or 80's and stars a blonde lady, whom I think may be Yvette Mimeux or Mia Farrow and a Dark haired women who I think may be Barbara Parkins, but I'm not certain!. The movie takes place in a mansion or big house of some sort, occupied by students!. The main plot may be that they are trying to drive one of the women in the house crazy!. The genre of the film is horror and/or thriller!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Reflections of Murder (1974 TV movie)
starring Joan Hackett, Tuesday Weld, Sam Waterston, Lucille Benson, Michael Lerner, R!.G!. Armstrong, David Selby, Lance Kerwin, Jesse Vint
IMDB synopsis:
The wife and mistress of the abusive headmaster of a boys' school plot and carry out his murder!. They dump his body in the murky swimming pool at the school and await for it to surface!. After several days, some unusual circumstances point to clues that he is not dead after all!.
IMDB review:
First of all, for those of you who don't know this already, this movie is a remake of the classic French film "Diabolique"!. Secondly, I completely empathize with all the previous reviewers who claimed that this movie traumatized them as a child!. I, too, could never quite shake the image of Sam Waterston rising out of the bathtub with those "dead" eyes!. John Badham's direction is terrific and highly modern!. The performances are all solid!.

The story has been filmed a number of times obviously:
Les Diaboliques aka Diabolique aka The Devils (French 1956)
Reflections of Murder (1974 TV movie)
House of Secrets (1993 TV movie)
Diabolique (1996)

I'm fairly certain that you are remembering the Tuesday Weld/Joan Hackett version for television!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
