Question: I can't remember the name of the movie!?
I recently remember seeing this great movie a while bak and can't remember the name of it!.
It seemed to be around the same era of the movie "clue"!.
It was a comedy
It was about a bunch of actors putting on a very complicated play!.
The play took place in a home with two floors and about 8-10 doors leading off the stage!.
I remember the major m!.o!. of the play was that several groups of people were there on a weekend getaway at the same time, but don't realize it (i!.e!. one group enters through one door the exact moment another group leaves through another)
I remember in the movie they kept screwing up the play (i!.e!. one actor keeps entering when he shouldn't or saying the wrong lines)!.
I also remember that a maid or house keeper in the play would occasionally offer the actors sardines and "would anyone like a sardine!?" was to be the last line of the play (although I'm not sure off the exact wording)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it's "noises off" released in 1992, starring john ritter, marilu henner, christopher reeves and micheal cain, as the director (of the play in the film, not the director of the film)!. great film!. good question!.
and not to bust your chops, but clue did come out mid to late eighties, but i'm just being picky!.
