Jacky Chan & Jet Li - The Forbidden Kingdom?!

Question: Jacky Chan & Jet Li - The Forbidden Kingdom!?
the film becames box office in the states !.!.!.but I find it a bit overacting cos the kungfu-tricks and the acrobatic arts are concentrated too much in the topic as a main focus!.

is it similar to the duel of Sharuman (Christopher Lee) & Gandalf in the Lord of the Ring!?

I hope my beloved two filmexperts will be striking back soonWww@Enter-QA@Com

!.!.!.you know, my original 'first impression' review of "The Forbidden Kingdom", which I have posted for inquires, was as follows:

!.!.!.very breath-takingly well-choreographed fight scenes, coupled with some rather compelling and strikingly awesome fantasy special effects; the pairing of Jackie Chan and Jet Li was quite outstanding, and I hope that we will see more films, with the two of them together, in the future!. I could have done without the 'Wizard of Oz' aspect of the story (!.!.!.you'll know what I mean, when you see it), but the rest of the film!.!.!.a most dynamic and entertaining experience!.!.!.

!.!.!.most hightly recommended!!!

!.!.!.however, upon further thoughtful insight and consideration, I really must say that the pairing of Jet Li and Jackie Chan, in this particular instance, was more gimmicky and commercial, upon closer examination (!.!.!.sort of like the martial arts pairing equivilant of Burt Reynolds and Clint Eastwood, in the '80's film, "City Heat"); I'm of the opinion that this probably shouldn't have happened, at least in the obvious commercial sense, which was blatently the intent, here!. It's like pairing Sylvester Stallone with Arnold Schwartzenegger; we're talking almost two different worlds here!.!.!.!.

!.!.!.!.I would have preferred to see Jackie Chan and Jet Li paired off in a much more serious, epic and historical type of premise, with the unbridled and jaw-dropping martial arts skills of Jet Li (!.!.!.not unlike the intensity of his best film to date, "Fist of Legend"), coupled with the tempered comic timing and dynamic martial arts abilities of Jackie Chan; unfortuntely, as Jet Li has reportedly retired from doing 'historically epic' martial arts films, this will probably never come to pass!.!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
