I found both very good, i think the setting chose of England was because the American influences had to have the Americans trying to save the day in the 28 weeks later!.
I only watched the films last week and as a amateur film critic I have to say that personally i enjoyed it in parts and hated it in others!.
I hated the ending of 28 days later i liked the story of them finding the leftovers of the British Army but i hated the fact that they were all assholes that wanted to rape the females of the group!. I just didn't like that bit in the story, it was understandable that they were desperate and all that but I still didn't like it, it was rushed to fit in with its time scale and it being rushed probably made me not like it!.
But people will have there own views and this was just mine!.
28 weeks later i thought was better, had a better storyline and reminded me of Dawn Of The Dead with a safe zone emerging in Britain and the re-introduction of people to Britain!.
I didn't like the fact that the infection got spread so easy, there were hundreds of American soldiers on patrol and 1 infected person managed to work there way through and start infecting people and then a massacre broke out and the solidiers ordered to kill all!.
But I believe that both films are a worth watcher if you like zombie films like that, and it does show that if something like that ever happened then Britain wouldnt be able to cope and I assume other counrtys would nither!.

I hate horror films, but they were both really good films!. But it's never ever gonna happen!. If you were to just assume it could happen however, i imagine it would spread through the water system due to the virus being present in spit, and probably would spread in hospitals as it's in the blood!. I imagine it's most likely to spread in a country with a high population, or i suppose most likely in a war zone!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
i barely watched the first one, i didnt like it!. but i really liked 28 weeks later!. The zombies are more brutal!. But if that ever happened i would def not want it to happen in the united states! I already had nightmares about 28 weeks later where zombies were chasing me in a field!Www@Enter-QA@Com
I liked days better, soooo freaky!. I think if somthing like that happens, it will start in Asia, to Australia and make it to Europe with by the year's end!. It would move with the wind current - like bird flu!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I liked the first one better(mainly because I'm a Cillian Murphy-ite) but they're both decent!.
