My favorite (and Hitch's too) is "Shadow of a Doubt", starring Joseph Cotton and Teresa Wright!. Simple, compelling, dark tale of a family whose beloved Uncle Charlie comes to visit---problem is, he's got a secret---a very dangerous one!.
