Question: What's this foreign movie called!? I forgot the name!!?
Ok, this movie meant so much to me when I was younger that I still remember the ending to this day!. I only have bits of information, but here it goes:
- There is a mother who knits all the time!. Scarves, I believe!?
- At the end her yarn gets pulled by something and the scarf she had been making unravels before our eyes!. (I think it was supposed to symbolize something in the plot)
- The film is foreign!.!.!.from Europe I believe!. Possibly German!.
- There is a 20s something year old man that narrates the movie, most likely the son of this knitting mother!.
Any help would be appreciated! (At first, I thought it was "Goodbye Lenin!" but then I saw it and there was no knitting in that movie at all!.)Www@Enter-QA@Com

I asked on an IMDb forum and someone kindly suggested that it could well be an italian movie called Cinema Paradiso!. The scene about knitting and the unravelling is described in the first link below (under the heading "The Ending", 2nd or 3rd paragraph under that heading)!.
