Please state reasons!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
That's a hard one to answer!. I loved #2, WRATH OF KHAN, because Ricardo Montalban was so wonderfuly evil!. A possessed genius, consumed by the desire for revenge, as so macho! I'm a Hispanic and I've always loved Ricardo in his many roles (he was a pirate in one movie made many, many years ago when he was younger and even more studly, wish I could remember the name of it) but he's the perfect enemy for Kirk when he's Khan!. Khan is smarter than Kirk but, as Kirk points out, he's not used to 3 dimensional thinking!.

Plus that ending, I wept buckets at Spock dying and knew, just knew, the writers had to find some way to bring him back to life!. (Though the whole Genesis planet and the young Spock thing is illogical!.) Scotty's nephew sacrificing himself, too, aw, break out the Kleenex!!

On the other hand, #4, THE JOURNEY HOME, was true to the spirit of the original series with comedy and drama and the woman who can't resist Kirk!. It, like many of the 1960's episodes, had a "message" plus provided first rate entertainment!.

I loved WRATH OF KHAN since we saw so many crew members from the original series, though poor Chekhov had that awful worm thing in his ear! Ugh!!

JOURNEY HOME was nice as we saw them try to fit into the 1980's and poor Spock trying to get up to speed while having to figure out how to blend in!. Kirk, older but still flirty and trying to get by on charm and luck!. Chekhov asking where we keep our "nuclear wessels!."

Darn, can't choose between the two so call it a tie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I enjoyed Star Trek IV and VI the most!.
Number I was cool to just see the cast on the big screen, but there was little story and a lot of drawn-out special effects!.
Number II was considerably better!. It had a real story to it and Kahn was delightfully evil!.
Number III wasn't near as enjoyable!. We could have done without that movie except that we needed it to get Spock back!.
Number IV was a breath of fresh air!. It had light-hearted humor that was much needed after such dark and serious movies!. It was good to see so much of Spock's deadpan humor too!.
Number V!. What can I say!? Shatner should stay away from directing!.
Number VI possibly had the richest storyline and the best opportunity for all the cast members to show off their unique talents!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Star Trek II: Wrath of Khan was the best one!. Khan was a perfect choice to be Kirk's enamy in a movie!. The whole revenge plot was great and I loved the battles between the two ships!. Spock dying at the end was a sad moment and didn't really make the best ending but, the plot was one of the best ones they had for a movie!. Star Trek IV: The Undiscovered Country was the second best!. Great plot loved the idea of a Bird of Prey being able to fire while cloaked!. The worst one was the fifth one!. I don't think it was all of Shatner's fault for being the director since it was the writers that wrote the script to begin with; nonetheless the movie sucked no matter who's fault it was!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hand's down, the Wrath of Khan!. It was basically a complete, 2-hour Star Trek episode!. It had plot, good character arcs, great action sequences, pathos, historical reference to the original series, elaboration of established characters, you name it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Hmm!.!.!.!. didn't like "The original movie" accept for the beginning where it showed them all getting back together as a crew!.!.!. the plot itself (with that horrid bald woman) was pretty lame, I thought

But the next three were all great!.!.

I think my favorite was Search For Spock!.!. very well done,

But the Journey home, where they go into the 80's is great if you don't mind them mixing Comedy with sci-fi!.!. That movie's FULL of great one-liners

McCoy: (responding to something Spock said) "Angels and ministers of grace, defend us!"
Spock: (no-nonsense, like an encyclopedia) "Hamlet!. Act 1 Scene IV"

LOLLLL

On second thought!.!. I take it back!.!. I think that one is actually my favorite!.!. the time trip into the 80's, the GREAT humor!.!. good plot!.!. didn't take itself too seriously!.!.

Checkov (heavy russian accent, in San Francisco during the cold war, speaking to a POLIECE) "Excuse me!.!. vehr are the nuclearr wessels!?!? The Nu-cle-ar wessels"
ROTFLOL

OOOH!.!.OOOH!.!. or "Scottie" trying to communicate with a 1980's computer
Scottie (verbally) "Computer!.!. Hello Computer"
No response!. 1980's denzien shows him a mouse, and MCCOy hands it to him
Scottie (smiling gaily): "AH!!" (picks up mouse and speaks into it!. "Hello COmputer"

ROTFLOLLLLL

Plotwise, I'd go with either #3 or #4!.!.
Wrath of Kahn was pretty good too, but I was just never quite as crazy about it as I was 3 and 4!.!.

Number 5 was just AWEFUL!.!. I regretted watching it!.!.
Never watched #6 (possibly because of how disappointed I was in #5) Someone else here said it was good!.!. so I'll ask!.!.!.!. Was Nimoy back in the director's chair!? Were ALL the original cast there!?!? WAs it really good!? I'd consider watching it!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

ah, it has to be the first one!. It was just the thrill of having them all back and on the big screen too!.
