Andrei Rublev- Andrei Tarkovsky's masterpiece!. A brutal indictment of the Soviet Union, set in medievil Russia amidst the Tatar invasions!. After you see Andrei Rublev, you will never watch a film the same way again!.
City Lights- Undoubedly Chaplin's best film!. It's hilarious, the boxing sequence had me crying with laughter, and the final 10 minutes of this movie are the most poignant, moving images ever to be captured on film!.
Seven Samurai- Kurosawa's great 1954 samurai epic!. This movie is a classic, and it's plot is familiar to everyone!. It is exciting!.!.even thrilling!. It is sad, funny, inspirational!. A great film, definitely one of the best!.
Wild Strawberries- The film that made Ingmar Bergman a star!. Very poetic story of an old intellectual contemplating his death!. Great performance from the lead as well (though that usually isn't important)
Au Hasard Balthazar- Robert Bresson's companion film to Mouchette!. This is a story about salvation!. It is a story about how the most innocent and pure beings are treated with hatred and contempt!. It also, oddly enough, is told from the point of view of a donkey!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
