That movie was a rip off of Star Wars A New Hope!.
You've got the young, blond farm boy who is destined to become a member of these mystical knights!.
You've got the wise, older knight (Obi Wan type) who is in hiding and later instructs said farm boy in his abilities!. And he also has a secret that he's keeping from the kid!.
You've got the bad guy, who used to be a member of said mystical knights (Darth Vader anyone!?)
You've got the female/ damsel in distress -- do I even need to mention Princess Leia!?
I mean, c'mon!.!.!.!. Eragon pretty much copied New Hope down to the last page of the script!.
Even the final fight with the bad guy when they're both flying their dragons (Luke's X-Wing fighter vs!. Darth Vader's Tie fighter) was just so obvious!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

That movie was disappointing to me because of the following:
A lead actor with no charisma!.
A big, powerful dragon with a dinky woman's voice!.
A dragon with "feathered" wings!. Dragons have "skin" wings like bats, not feathers!.
A lousy ending!.
A "blue" dragon!. Give me a break!.
Poor writing!.
Therefore, I could care less what that actors name was, sorry!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
