I'm looking for a trully frightening movie but that doesn't have the usual in your face sex and crap!.!.!. anyone have any suggestions!?

The Ring is clean, and scary as all get out!. also, there is an older movie (late seventies, early eighties) called The Changeling!. It's a straightforward haunted house movie, none of the sex and gore crap, and maybe the scariest movie I've ever seen!. I just got a chill thinking about it, and I haven't seen it in years!Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Thing - I think the scariest movie I have ever seen!. Story of expeditioners/scientists in Antarctica who discovered an alien remains in an abandoned outpost!. The alien turns out to be alive and soon starts to take over the men one by one!.!.!.and the scariest part is they mimic them so it looks like they are still human!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The Others!. Jacob's Ladder (has some gory scenes, but it is a very intelligent plot), Hide & Seek!.

How about the original, "The Invasion of the Body Snatchers"!? I remember watching it on when I was about ten with my mother!. (I'm fifty-seven now!. I was pretty scared by it!. Now, when I watch it, I can see the cold war, anti communist theme, but it still holds up pretty well!.
Another one, that's more in a science fiction vein is "The Day the Earth Stood Still!." It's excellent, and has some chilling moments!. It's thoughtful too!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Donnie Darko!. Not really a scary movie, but it definately leaves you wanting for more!. It's based on time travel and depicts a young confused boy!. Their are a few cuss words!. Stunning acting with Jake Gillenhall and his sister Maggie!. I give it 5 stars!. GO WATCH IT NOW!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
