Answers:
guilty, i didnt like it at all!.!. i truly think that it is overrated and only famous because of what happen when it was being released!.

i think raging bull is better!. and casablanca

but maybe i'll give it a try again!. (cuz i only watched it once) hopefully i can stand it though!. maybe i got my hopes way up, it being number one and all, and expected something better!.!.

and adding to the japanese films that other people mentioned (seven samurai and tokyo story) i would like to include rashomon!. camera work was great!. i love the director!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, I am REALLY into cinematography, so I thought the film was as near perfect as any American film I've seen!. Every shot was just gorgeous, and so perfectly framed, and lighted, and the movement of the camera was exquisite, and the story told by the camera is as important as the story told by the action, but the film did come up short when it came to characterization, unfortunately, no character in the film, sans Charles Foster Kane, is ever made to feel like a real person, but rather a parody, almost, a character!. It is, though, definately one of the greatest films ever made!. And the only film, I think, that comes can overtake it is Tokyo Story, by Ozu, because not only is the cinematography, writing, directing, and acting perfect, but each cahracter is felt as an all too real person, which the only thing Citizen Kane lacked, as I have stated before!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I loved the innovations that Welles used in the movie!. It's never boring to watch a master at the top of his game!. Although, I don't consider it the greatest movie ever made!. The story itself is pretty routine biographical fare!.

Seven Samurai is the best!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sure, the plot was slow and distinctly lacking in explosions and sex, but many of the scenes were beautifully staged!.

*mutters something about "these kids today"*Www@Enter-QA@Com

Sounds like you didn't like it, but it is one of my all-time favorite films!.

Orson Welles was an important innovator and had a tremendous impact on filmmaking!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think it's overrated unless you are REALLY into cinematography!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It was the most boring movie that I ever watched in my entire life!. I wasted 2 hours of my life on that hunk of crap!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
