Better than the first AVP, that was a real disappointment, a load of MTV crap!. Went into this one with much lower expectations and was actually pleasantly surprised!. Maybe because of that though!.
Still needs to get back more towards Aliens or Predator 1, they had their own styles, and were much better!. Alien was a great film but wouldn't suit this type of movie!. also, really really needs to be 18, I can't help thinking they are reduced to 15 just to get more money in!.
Agree with nathan t about the human element, the best psychological horror films have an element of despair to them!. I felt Transformers, although brainlessly enjoyable, was much more disappointing than AVP 2!. I couldn't even tell you the decepticons names, and there was no reference to the conflict between Starscream and Megatron!. It was about as bad as AVP 1!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i felt neither AVP or AVP:Requiem were anywhere near as good as they should have been!.
the idea of the two ultimate alien races has been a subject of a lot of discussion and the film was in discussion for many years, however i feel the weakened both races!. much like transformers the human element brought into the film really didnt work, and as much as i dont like entire CGI films, it would have been amazing to see a full out war between the two races, rather than the first film which was just a quick hunt with very little substance and the second one of which the less said the better i thinkWww@Enter-QA@Com

I liked the visual design of the creatures (using the "Aliens" design etc!.) and the fact that they didn't rely as heavily on CGI as the last one!.

It was worse than the first AVP!. I hate how they make Predator out to be nice, he's not!! Does anyone remember him killing off Arnie's friends in the original!?! AVP2 had NO character development, so you didn't care what happened to any of the people!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
