Been looking for this weird film for a long time?!

Question: Been looking for this weird film for a long time!?
I remember that it has something to do with these hippie-like motorcycle maniacs, who would go around killing people, and at the end, the maniacs actually filmed themselves graphically killing and cutting up this girl!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

!.!.!.your movie description has definitely struck a most familiar cord, and I suspect that you might be thinking of the 1976 early slasher/splatter flick, called "Snuff", a film which blindly and foolhardedly gave validity to the already growing urban legend, of the actual existance of the nototious 'snuff' films!.!.!.

(edit)

!.!.!.tsk! tsk! tsk! "Snuff" garnished it's 'oh-so forbidden and taboo' reputation, through a rather effectively clever advertising campaign, not unlike that used for films like "The Blair Witch Project"; the unfortunate and/or convenient backlash (!.!.!.which I suspect was at least somewhat intentional) is that "Snuff" shamelessly and apologetically rode the coattails of the already established urban legend of reputed 'snuff films' (!.!.!.of which the existance of, I agree, has neither been confirmed, nor denied)!. Those folks who saw the VHS of "Snuff" on the video sheves, and who had at least some inkling of what 'snuff films' were, were naturally repulsed; they raised a stink about the existance of the film (!.!.!.without checking it out, of course), which naturally raised the attention of curiosity seekers, who eventually rented the film, only to find out that all of the hype and hoopla was pretty much ado about nothing!. "Snuff", which was originally called "Slaughter", and was simply just a cheap run-of-the-mill, abeit somewhat sadistic motorcycle maniac movie, is really not all that it's cracked up to be, exploitively, and by today's standards, is relatively mild (!.!.!.there HAVE been much more graphic, and wholly more disturbing and 'taboo' productions!.!.!.the "Guinea Pig" series, for instance)!. Even the special effects of the special 'inserted' conclusion of the movie, are so cheesy and fake, as to be excruciatingly laughable (!.!.!.i!.e!., the girl's fingers, being cut off with garden shears, look very much like painted latex gloves, filled with blood-colored geletin, and with painted fingernails glue on)!.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Fright Film Fan is undoubtedly correct and what you are remembering is "Snuff," or more likely the publicity and furor surrounding its release (I've never seen the film, nor lived anywhere that it played, nor wanted to see it)!. I don't understand why you would want to see what amounts to a hoax, unless you fell for the hype and thought the "added scene" was real!. My gawd, you can rent "Faces of Death" and/or some of its sequels and imitators and see real deaths!. The video revolution of the eighties exceed the sickest paranoias of the seventies, and news channels sometimes show footage that would have been deemed impossible to telecast in the fifties!. The very medium we're using, the world wide web, has incredibly sinister nooks and crannies and you could watch things like Saddam Hussein being executed, if you wanted to spend a little time doing some basic research!.

I think what is saddest about the "snuff movie" myth (and I do believe such things are myths, based on Joeseph Waubaugh's observation that no police department has ever confiscated any of the legendary "snuff films") is not that deaths would be filmed (or videotaped or captured on people's cell phones) but the part of the idea that obviously raises prurient interests, namely that people would kill other people for the amusement of an audience!.

Both of your ears and your nose will fall off if you go out and buy a copy of "Snuff!." Your eternal soul will be condemned to an eternity of suffering if you post a question asking where you can watch "Snuff," without downloading, for free on the internet!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
