i think captain america is one of the characters that has to stay true to the appearance hes an iconic figure, to change it would be wrong no matter how great an actor from another ethnicity is

Here is the essential problem with casting movies based on comic books characters especially classic comic book characters and this is casting known actors or actresses!. Comic book characters have a vibrant life of their own and by casting a known person deprives the character of his or her transcendent quality!.
Batman the character should be the focus not Christian Bale!.
By casting a familiar actor the viewer is burdened by the role players other roles and possibly personal life if they have one that annoyingly newsworthy!. I don't care how good the actor maybe it just is impossible for him or her to not do it!.
There are 1000's of unknown actresses and actors out there and no doubt 100's of very good ones that can actually act and what is more look perfect for the part!. Any great comic book character has always been a function of story and history and that is quite enough to carry the day without heaping on big named 'stars'(or even lesser named 'stars') to shore up the box office!.
Side note: Are not we all excited to see Watchman!? Once again another brilliant piece of literature from Alan Moore that will play foundation to horrible movie!.!.!.of course I haven't seen it but trust me the movie will, in a word, suck!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
