Can you help me figure out the name of this movie?!

its a movie about a women who has some type of stress!. her dad is a psycologist and he has this suitcase filled with these tranqualizers that they put behind their ear with a flashing light!. after using this device for some time she gets powers where she can manipulate people to do things that she makes them do!. she ended up killing her dad in a swimming pool!. she then later on has control of all the people watching her on tv!. she ends up with some much stress that she gets stress balls!. she then dies by touching an electrical outlet!. this movie is from the late 80's to early 90s!. please help me figure out the name of this movie!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
