Answers:
I don't really think there will be a second, if that's what your asking- that was the glorious ending-no more, no less, finite!.
But to your second question I say; yes, the blood definitely looked fake- but I think that was the point- the blood was rather irrelevant in this story (so to speak)!.!.it was merely a artistic effect on an otherwise predominately black-white-and grey screen!. I think the movie was showing a man so blinded with rage and revenge that he didn't even realise that the people he was seeking vengeance for (Lucy and Joanna), stood with him, at one time, in the same room!. The blood was a metaphor and reoccurring motif of this fury- all though, I must say, I got awfully excited watching the throats being cut!.!.!.

You ask some very good questions!. I think the film was left open because it was quite obvious that Joanna and Toby would get together, seeing as everyone else that was holding them back was dead!.
As for the color of the blood, it may have something to do with the dreary tone of the film, but I couldn't really be certain!. :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

The blood was meant to be a funny colour, thats just Tim Burton for ya!
I suppose the ending was left open but what with Todd himself being killed it pretty much meant nothing else was going to happen!.
Loved the film!. Love Tim Burton!. Love Johnny Depp!. Woo!Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think the color of the blood looks strange due to the light that they used in making the film!. It's darker just like the Lord of the Rings film!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
