"Die Hard" had much better writing as it was based on a pretty good novel "Nothing Lasts Forever" by Roderick Thorp!. It also had a real romantic storyline, and lots of comedy, not just guys getting chopped up and killed!.

Die Hard, without question!. Redefined action movies at the time - often copied for years afterwards with similar type action hostage movies of which Under Siege was one!. Having said that, Under Siege is still one of Seagal's better movies - he's made some stinkers in recent years!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
die hard without a doubt, under siege is pants, there is a funny part to it though, when seagal first makes contact with the us army, he tells them "we are dealing with 25 maybe 30 terrorists" just watch how many he wastes! its close to a hundred! can he count!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
