Question: Question about the ending of the movie THE MIST!?
ok, i really liked this movie and actually thought it was rather disturbing, but in the end after he kills everyone in the car and soon after the tanks come rolling up behind him for rescue, the "mist" was there right before the tanks got there then the mist was completely gone!! where the monsters just gone suddenly or what!?!? You saw some dead monsters in the background of the scene!. I'm not sure if they were supposed to die when the mist lifted or if the soldiers were meant to have killed them!.
What i couldn't figure out was why the military was already bringing refugees back, minutes after the mist faded!. That made no sense at all!.
Side note: I wish I'd missed the last five minutes of this movie!. Loved it until then!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i assumed that the military people killed them, but there were too many so i guess they just got scared of the fire and left

Yeah they retreated back into the mist and the army was burning everything to make sure nothing pops out!. Sick ending though made me cringeWww@Enter-QA@Com
The monsters/aliens were all burned by the army/government and the rest of them were either in the process of leaving or not gone yet!. Hope I helped hun!Www@Enter-QA@Com
