1!. How does the story set up and how are the characters introduced!.
it's starts w/bruce willis' character whose a child pyschiatrist (malcolm)and his wife coming home from an awards ceremony honoring him, as he goes upstairs to his bedroom, a former patient(played by donnie wahlberg,new kids on the block) his name is vincent and he says to the dr!. you didn't help me and he shoots him) we flashforward a yr later and the dr has a new patient named cole,whose 6 and he's being scared by various people some dead ,some alive!. after being beaten up at a party he's hospitalized when the bruce shows up cole admits he has a secret!. he sees dead people!. we know he has a single mother whose husband left their family for another woman, and malcolms wife as well(sorry can't remember her name) so the characters are set up right away!. so malcolm "takes" coles's case and when he relizes that cole can really see dead people he tells him to help them and maybe they will go away,meanwhile cole's mom doesn't have a clue a/b what's going on w/him!. it's also a/b malcolm's relationship w/his wife!.
2!. What's the major conflict of the screenplay!? the major conflict is that in macolm helping cole it is cole who helps him as well!. How does it develop and how is it resolved!? it developes in a series of incidents involving malcolm helping a little girl who was murdered and her killer being found out and then cole helps malcolm talk to his wife and malcolm letting cole know it's ok to talk to his mom a/b his special gift!. therefore she will understand him better!.
3!. How effective was the dialog in communicating the conflict!?
the dialog was great!. this is the only movie this director made that i like,could relate to and was not stupid at all!. yes it has a surprise ending but it's not like his other films!.

the meaning of the sixth sense is that some people believe that we all have a way of communicating that is beyond our normal five senses!. some are more intuitive than others and if we took the time to either see it or believe it, we can somehow develope it more!.
to me this movie is a/b living life to the fullest as you never know what to expect and not to get so caught up in the world that you forget what's important,like family!. not work like most people do these days!.
this is one of my all time favorite movies and i purposely didn't tell you key points a/b the movie b/c you really need to watch it,in order to really appreciate the movie and i didn't want to spoil it for you!. i say it's a good rental!. i hope this helped you out and you get a good grade for it!. you must email me to let me know how you did!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
