Question: What was that weird 70s movie with the crack addict that played pinball!?
I think I also remember a scene where some woman rolls around in a white room full of fresh cow manure, and there was a lot of music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
It IS "Tommy", but, as has been said, he's mute, blind and deaf, not a "crack addict"!. also, those are baked beans, not "fresh cow manure"; and, I think other substances spill out of the television!.

All of that is average for a Ken Russell movie!. They're very nearly always bizarre: "Altered States", "The Music Lovers" and "Lair of the White Worm", for examples!. "The Boyfriend" is a big departure from his usual weirdness!.

Tommy (1975)
IMDB synopsis:
When Nora Walker (Ann-Margret) gets pregnant, her beloved husband, the pilot Captain Walker (Robert Powell), is considered missing in action in World War II when his plane crashes in a battle!. Nora raises her son, Tommy, alone, with the memories of his father!. In 1951, she meets Frank Hobbs (Oliver Reed) in a summer camp and is courted by him, ending in an affair!. Then, a traumatic event occurs, leaving the child shut off from the world until Tommy finds a pinball machine and becomes a champion!.

The Who's Roger Daltrey plays the grown Tommy; Keith Moon, Pete Townshend and John Entwhistle, also of The Who, also co-star~Moon as the infamous Uncle Ernie!. The cast also includes Elton John, Eric Clapton, Jack Nicholson, Paul Nicholas and Tina Turner!.

I was lucky enough to have seen this many times in the theater!. Back then, they didn't chase people out; so, one Saturday, my sister and I sat through the matinee showings then asked if we could stay till the evening shows~a total of FIVE times! I'm not sure what my grand total was for seeing the movie!. Maybe it's because, in the early Seventies, a friend and I had planned how we could get to Chicago to see The Who perform "Tommy"!. I have no idea how many times we listened to that rock opera, never guessing that anyone would make a film of it not so far in the future!. I still have that fold-out album (three sections) with the blue-and-black cover!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Tommy!. The Who's Rock Opera!. Tommy was play by Roger Daltrey, the Who's vocalist!. The mom rolling around was Ann Margaret (watch Saturday afternoon movies for Viva Las Vegas with Elvis Presley)!. Many great rock performers make cameos in that one, most famously Elton John as the Pinball Wizard!. Jack Nicholson sings!. Tina Turner as the Acid Queen !! Kieth Moon (the late Who's outrageously great and wild drummer) as the perverted cousin!. Eric Clapton as the Preacher!. Great stuff!. Watch it again!. Its a great movie -- totally whacked, but great!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

That's the movie Tommy!. It's a rock opera from The Who!. Ann Margaret was the one rolling around in the white room, but it wasn't manure, it was baked beans!. Tommy was a deaf, dumb, and blind kid who was a phenominal pinball player!. He wasn't on crack!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
