Question: Will there be a 2nd speed racer movie!?
i thought this movie was going to stink, but it was better, than I thought it was going to be!.
I was a fan of speed racer when I was growing up, so I had to take a chance at this movie!. And see, how well they did making this cartoon hiting the big picture!. turn out to be pretty good (:

!.!.!.well, there WERE whispers, murmuring and rumors over at the Warner Bros!. production camp, of a second, and even a third film, even before the first "Speed Racer" was released; several of the cast members DID apparently sign on for a three-picture deal!. Being a big fan of this film (!.!.!.and of course, the animated series, as well), myself, I HAVE noticed that although this film didn't exactly garnish a big box office opening, right out of the gate, it IS apparently developing a progressively growing fan base appreciation, as people who were initially skeptical, are giving the film a chance!.!.!.!.and having a change of heart; this may just be one of those films, which will be the most successful toward the end of it's theatrical run, and well into it's eventual release on home video!.!.!.!.!.

I liked the movie too, but no wayyy is there going to be a sequel!. They pretty much only do sequels for films that are big box office successes or become cult favorites, and I don't think Speed Racer is going to achieve either!.
As I said before, it's unfortunate, because I liked it!.
