I was only 6 years old when I fell in love with that movie!. Sounds strange, looking back!.!. not the type of movie you'd think a child would find enthralling
But I did!.!. I remember that was the one I'd go for every time we went to the movie store!.!. My mom ALWAYS knew what movie I'd ask to rent!.
I guess, even at that tender age, there was something about that story that touched me!. Something about the strength of the human spirit!.
LOL!.!. okay now I'm sounding cheesey!.!. Been awhile since I watched it, but probably won't be much longer before I watch it again!.!.

I love the movie!.!.!.the performances was great and the subjects is timeless!.!.!.but the book was better (of course)!.!.!.if you seen the movie read the book then watch the movie again the certain scene will have different meanings and you will love it even moreWww@Enter-QA@Com

its a great movie nominated for 11 oscars i think!.oprah winfrey too is good!.direction and cinematograhy is fine!.it chronicles life of a simple womman and the opression they sometimes face!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
