India spends around 18 Billion US Dollars on Defence , but it is very likely that more than 80-90 Percent of the Money is syphoned out by our Politicians & Beaucrats !.
BJP Government purchased a JUNK Yard Ship ( Ghorshov ) from Russia for 1!.8 -2 Billion US Dollars !. This ship was lying in a JunkYard !. People in this country don't even question this Purchase !? Have you people forgotten the TEHELKA Scandal !? It gave us a brief idea how much corruption is there in corridors of power !.
Not surprisingly India is blackmailed & Bullied by all its neighbours , especially China!. How many Indians are aware that Chinese are grabbing Indian Territories !?
Yet Majority of Indian people find time for Cricket & Rubbish Bollywood movies ( Except for a few good Directors )!.
Apart from this a Burgaoning Muslim Population in India , which has grown from 12 % to anywhere between 25% to 30% , enjoying all the subsidies & privillages provided by Congress Government for the last 50 years!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

By the way, the burgeoning Muslim population hasn't got anything to do with corruption, and I think you are exaggerating the numbers!. Just to add to it, I don't think the Muslims have been pampered with unfair privileges; rather they have been getting short shrift from successive governments since Independence!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

u have d wrong information dear according to survey of forbes from 91 countries of d world for corruption India was ranked 71th postion from downwards and least corrupted country was Finland with 1st rank with 99!.9% and d most corrupted was Nigeria with 91st rankWww@Enter-QA@Com
