HAHA it's actually playing right now on TBS and I'm watcing it tehe!!! But to answer you question when I first saw it I was really young and I think it was my first R rated movie (is it R or PG-13!?!? either one, it was my first adult movie) My parents covered my eyes for the nude drawing and sex sence and I remeber feeling so sick to my stomach becasue it was so much drama and anxiousness on you seat action that I almost peed my pants!!! I mean I had never expreienced something so real and dramatic!. So now when I watch it I dont have those same feelings (sad) but I still love it! I could watch it everyday and still love it! I actually noticed a spoof in the movie today!. when mr!. andrews is at the fireplace and he's turning the clock back and the ship is tilted so things are falling off the mantle of the fireplace!. You can see the string pulling the wine glass off the mantle!!!! If you look close you can see it moving infront of his balck coat, you can see the white line shaking and stuff!. It was funny!. I still cant believe how good the graphics and digital art stuff is, i mean it was so ahead of its time that even some movies made today can compare, like in 1408 that movie the fire from the window is so horribly done it so fake, but the whole titanic ship and the steam stack falling are so real looking and they did it on such a small budget i dont know how they pulled it off!. My opinion hasn't change!. Its a wonderfully made movie with great cinematic direction!. I know that after this movie was made there was a lot of Leo bashing, but it turns out, he is a one of the best actors out there to date!. James Horner did an excellent job with the soundtrack, Celine sang a brilliant fitting song for the picture and the special effects still looks great when the ship shinks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
It's a great movie!. I liked it the first time!. But it is also an example of a film being so overly exposed!. When it was released, Titanic was everywhere you turned!. The theme song was always on!. Anything that had anything to do with Tinatic (the actual ship) was on TV!. I think people just had too much of it after awhile!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
