Question: Some Q's About The New INDIANA JONES Movie!?
I saw the new Indy movie this week, and I had 2 questions that have really been bothering me that I can't seem to find or figure out the answer to!. Maybe some die hard fans can help me out!.
1!. When Indy first meets Mutt and they are in the cafe, Indy asks him his mother's name!. When Mutt responds, (trying not to give away any spoilers here) why doesn't Indy recognize it!.!.!.!.!?
2!. Mutt mentions he chose the name Mutt for himself!. But why was it such a surprise that Indy was really his father, (don't think this is a spoiler, since it was the trailer) if his ORIGINAL name is Inidiana Jones the Third!.!.!.!.!!?!!? When his mom told him to go looking for Indiana Jones, didn't he find it unusual they had the same name!.!.!.!.!!?!!?

1) When they were in the cafe Mutt called his mom Mary Williams!. Which, to all of us fans who knew that Karen Allen was coming back, we jumped from Mary to Marion in a heartbeat!. However, Indy hasn't seen or heard from Marion in about twenty years, plus, as far as he knows, she doesn't go by Mary!. She goes by Marion!. Not to mention, he probably wasn't really thinking about her at all
2) Indy's given name is Henry Jones Jr!. Mutt's given name is Henry Jones the third!. However, he's been using the surname williams all his life, because that was his mother's last name!.

1!. Because Indiana Jones was only paying half-attention to Mutt's personal problems when he said he met dozens of 'Marions' in his life!.
2!. Don't forget that 'Indiana' is only a nick-name for Dr!. Henry Walton Jones jr!. Mutt had no reason to know that Henry was his real father since Indiana left Marion three months before Mutt was born and Marion married a pilot which Mutt believed to be his real father!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Mutt thought his last name was Williams!. Obviously his mother lied to him and may have even put his name on his birth certificate as Henry Jones III but she told Mutt it was actually Henry Williams!. Mutt thought his last name was the same as his "father's"!.!.!.Williams!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

it wasnt a surprise to Mutt, he was mad that his dad was never there for him, and that he didn't even know he was his son, Mutt was pretty much hating Indy because he was ever there for him!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Mutt told Indy his mother's married name, not her maiden name!. Indy knew her under her maiden name!.

The first question was already answered!. Mutt called her Mary, not Marion!.
