Question: The latest Indiana Jones movie: what do you think of it!?

Personally, I though the ending, with the aliens etc was the stupidest and most disappointing thing I have ever seen!. I can accept the fakeness of Indiana Jones, the fact that for four movies, he can get out of anty situation, take on 10 guys and win, that smoke trails from his running acts as a magnet for bullets, and everything else that goes with it!. But in this one, with the rope swing scene, so stupid that when his son is on the last rope, that is when the car goes past!.!.!.!. the most ridiculous bit was 4 of them surviving THREE massive falls in the waterfalls - the car was unscathed, didn't even topple over once
And then a really cheesey ending line "knowledge is their power" was as bad as King Kongs "in the end it was beauty that killed the beast"
It was horrible, BUT entertaining, I enjoyed it despite all that, just didn't like the ending

I agree sort of - I like the whole chessyness of all the Indiana Jones movies so things like surviving waterfalls and swinging on ropes with monkeys and all the happy coincidences like Indy's car arriving in the nick of time etc are all part of this!. I did not!. however remeber any of the other Indy movies getting so sci-fi so like you I agree that this was a step to far even for the world of Indiana Jones!. also it has to be said that for a 66 or something year old man - he sure can move!!Www@Enter-QA@Com
Probably about an 8, and that was for how much entertainment I got out of it!. The alien thing was kinda weird but yet fascinating at the same time!. It made me want to see what they could do for an encore!. I couldn't think of anything!.!.!.Oh, and the son swinging on the vines was the worst of the fake parts--I actually thought--that couldn't happen!. It's a bad sign if you think that during the movie!. but over all I still found it highly entertaining!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
If it had been anything but Indy, I probably would have adored it!. But it was just a bit far fetched for my liking!.

I liked it, I'd give it 8!.5/10
It stuck to the format ofthe other films, which i liked, and it was clever- if you looked carefully there were a few links to the older films (despite the, ahem, obvious ones)!. I think part of the point of Indiana Jones is that its a film and is allowed to be unrealistic, its part of the whole style!. Its a little cheesy in some places but i feel thats another part of the francise!. I agree that the ending is rather naff, but still kinda sweet, thats probably because im a girl though!. Anyway, i enjoyed it and went home wanting to watch it again, but i had to settle for temple of doom instead!Www@Enter-QA@Com
